We believe everyone should have access to care through telemedicine. Unfortunately, telemedicine solutions tend to be expensive and complicated to use. As a result, most healthcare providers are unable to offer care for their patients through telemedicine.
Now any healthcare provider can provide care to their patients outside of the clinical setting. All the patient needs to start a telemedicine visit is a web link to the doctors room using a standard computer, and anyone of the three web browsers; Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. No special hardware or software are necessary. Secure data transmission and patient privacy is a top priority. We utilize state-of-the-art security and encryption protocols, making us compliant with HIPAA and HITECH requirements.

The system is designed to be simple and to work with minimal system requirements.
To have a successful call, users must have:
- Mac/PC/Table or mobile device with a camera, microphone, and speakers
- Internet upload/download speed of at least 750kbs
- Google, Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox (latest release versions
For iOS and Android:
- Ensure you have updated your operating system
- Download the iOS app from the App store or use google chrome on your android device
Make sure
- JavaScript must be enabled (this is enabled by default, and we’ll give you a message in Doxy.me if you need to enable it
- Make sure TCP ports 80 and 443 are open (sometimes firewalls will block these ports, as your IT team if you can’t connect with someone it this is causing it
How to get best audio/video quality
- The video quality adjusts based on your available bandwidth. So the faster and more stable your internet connection, the better the video quality you will receive. Keep in mind that if your client has a poor internet connection, it can be difficult to have a good call
- Use an ethernet cable to connect to the internet when possible. Poor WIFI connections could impact call quality
- Limit internet usage during a call. For example, do not stream movies or download music at the same time, even on a different computer on the same network
- Do not have a lot of browser windows open
- Newer computers with plenty of available processing power tend to have the best performance
- Use an HD webcam to have an HD video feed but most webcams work great
